You know you’re in for an interesting night when even the lift that takes you to your destination has a story. Through sensor technology, elevators at QT hotel Sydney ascertain how many people are riding and play music as it sees fit. As promised, the night was a truly civilized affair. Guests were treated to an old school style shoe shine (had my heels done!), straight edged razor shave or a buzz cut and sampling of the 12, 18 and 25 year old scotch whiskey from Chivas Regal.
The scotch whiskey brand has a permanent display at the spaQ Barber Shop. Those who book in for a treatment will be able to sample premium scotch whisky from Chivas Regal including the 12yo and 18yo.
What about the ladies? spaQ’s story does not end with men’s grooming. Listed as one of Conde Nast Traveller’s best new spas in 2013, spaQ also offers the bee’s knees in head-to-toe treatments using Uspa and Kerstin Florian products. The Hammam-inspired steam room and gothic relaxation lounge complete the experience.
