Vito’s Sydney

Vito's Sydney, the golden age of New York dining lands in the CBD

Vito’s Sydney is an Italian-American restaurant and bar from Sunday Co, opening in the heritage-listed Burns Philp Building on Bridge Street. Inspired by the great dining rooms of 1950s and 60s Manhattan, it brings together handmade pasta, wood-fire grill cooking, mid-century interiors and the kind of warm, abundant hospitality that made those rooms worth writing about.

Chef Michael Fox, formerly chef de cuisine at Carbone Hong Kong and 2011 Good Food Guide Young Chef of the Year, leads a kitchen rooted in Italian-American heritage, with familiar classics elevated through premium ingredients and careful preparation.

The Burns Philp Building provides extraordinary bones: the grand dining room is richly detailed with red velvet banquettes, lamp-lit booth tables and the kind of room that makes you want to stay for another bottle. The bar operates all day, group dining is available across semi-private spaces.
