Felons Brewing Co Manly, a pint over the water
Felons Brewing Co Manly is a Queensland craft brewery bar and restaurant on Manly Wharf, pouring its own beers right over the harbour. It’s built for long afternoons, big groups and the kind of sunset that makes you order another round.
Felons takes its name from four convicts who escaped Sydney in 1823 and sailed all the way to Moreton Bay, and the brewery has carried that adventurous streak from Queensland to the Manly waterfront. It sits in the former Wharf Bar spot, so the sunset and spritz tradition lives on, with balanced, easy drinking pours like the Crisp Lager, Galaxy Haze and Australian Pale Ale, plus a Japanese Rice Lager you can only drink in Manly. The space stretches across multiple bars and dining rooms, including seating out on the Jetty, and the outdoor areas are all walk in, so you can rock up with a big group and a dog in tow and still land a table with a view. Add live bands and DJs and a Mediterranean leaning menu of local seafood and elevated pub fare, and an afternoon here has a habit of turning into an evening.
