We’ve partnered with the award-winning Hickson House craft distillery and cocktail bar in The Rocks to giveaway an all-expenses-paid distilling and dining experience for you and four friends.

You’ll celebrate your win with a drink on arrival, followed by a private distillery tour led by Head Distiller Tim Stones. Be guided through the gin production and whisky-making process before tasting samples of their signature Hickson Rd. Gin range and new-made Whisky. Put your newly gained knowledge into practice by blending your very own gin using native ingredients and botanicals. Once you’ve worked up an appetite, you’ll head to the Hickson House dining room with a $400 voucher to enjoy their botanically-inspired Australian menu and innovative cocktails. Guests will also all leave with a 700ml bottle of Hickson Rd. Gin to add to their shelves at home.

About Hickson House:

Hickson House is located in a unique heritage-listed warehouse in The Rocks, just a stone’s throw from Sydney Harbour views. Inside you’ll find distillery stills and barrels sitting alongside the dining space, an intimate mezzanine cocktail lounge, and a soaring back bar that shelves over 600 bottles of spirits from around the globe. The menu highlights Australian-made spirits, rare whiskies, and the distillery’s very own Hickson Rd gin.

The distillery sets the benchmark for high-quality spirits made in Australia. The team source ingredients from around the continent with many botanicals exclusively grown for the distillery. Each gin is distilled in 800L copper pots which have been custom-made by local craftsmen in Griffith NSW. We highly recommend their range of Australian Dry London Dry and Harbour Strength which you can taste across the cocktail menu.

The botanically-inspired Australian menu perfectly complements the beverage offering. The menu highlights include Sydney Rock Oysters with Nam Jim granita, Kangaroo Tartare with horseradish, vegemite and toast, Roasted Barramundi with lemon myrtle beurre blanc and fennel salad, Porchetta with native herbs, roasted apple and juniper jus, and Mango Pavlova with lemon myrtle sorbet.

Hickson House is open Tuesday – Thursday from 4pm – late, Friday – Saturday from 12pm – late and Sunday from 12pm – 10pm. Book your table here.

The intimate tours and tasting experiences in the distillery are perfect for birthday celebrations, bonding with work colleagues, or simply trying something new.
