Australia’s top cellar doors are coming direct to Redfern on this one-day-only, Urban Wine Walk.
Whilst a trip around Australia’s best wineries in a single afternoon might seem like a daunting task, a much more relaxed afternoon will find you strolling through the best bars and breweries across Redfern, sampling some of the nation’s top tipples in this carefully curated event. Back for another year, Urban Wine Walk invites you along to a one-day-only walking wine tour you won’t want to miss.
As part of their biggest series to date, the festivities return to the streets of Redfern for a stellar line-up of the neighborhood’s best venues. Kicking off on Saturday 19th November from 12pm – 4pm, the streets, laneways and footpaths of this leafy suburb will come alive as Redfern’s top venues open their doors. Your $75+bf ticket grants you entry into all participating venues, complimentary wine tastings, a $10 food voucher to use at your nominated starting venue, and a $25 voucher for Event Day Wine Orders.
Head to The Sunshine Inn to sample M&J Becker Wines (NSW) before heading to sunny Redfern Surf Club for a taste of Konpira Maru (QLD / VIC). Walk over to Woolpack Hotel to taste a selection of Mercer Wines (NSW) before rallying up the troops for Atomic Brewery where La Petite Mort (QLD) will be on the pour. Then head to Bart Jr for Vinteloper (SA), followed by Misfits @ The Redfern for Valentine Wines (VIC) and LS Merchants (WA), then finish off at Bush for Dirt Candy Wines (NSW).
With 7 bars offering 7 unique wine-tasting opportunities, the choice is yours as to how you spend your afternoon. Feeling ambitious? Visit all 7.
