Collaborating with SmoothFM, The Ternary will be the socialite spot for this years’ Melbourne Cup, situated high above the Harbour. The Novotel is a landmark hotel that has lit up Darling Harbour for 25 years. They have recently refurbished their restaurant and bar, The Ternary. The name originates from ‘ternanius’, not a Harry Potter spell, but a Latin term meaning ‘consisting of three things’. The Grill Kitchen, Asian Kitchen and Wine Bar are all located in a large open room, omitting an essence of casual sophistication. A string-line of local produce, contemporary Asian and other cultural influences intertwine perfectly in this harmonious environment.

The premium four hour cocktail package at $135 per person includes Taittinger Champagne on arrival, four hours of flowing Evans & Tate premium wines and refreshing craft beers.
The Ternary’s generous canapés are there to keep you perfectly satisfied whilst the drinks flow and bets are placed. Live cooking demonstrations from the expert Ternary culinary team will run across two open kitchens. Infusing their Asian grill flare, patrons can expect carefully selected, race appropriate canapés.
Along with this exquisite food and drink selection, the race day entertainment will light up numerous large screens along the backdrop of Darling Harbour. Live SmoothFM DJ’s will amplify the large space with a plethora of prizes to be presented by Bogart and Glenn. The festivities will be kicking off from midday to 4pm, Tuesday 1st November 2016. For those eager to kick on, the Ternary Garden Bar will be in celebration mode from 3.30pm into the late evening.
