Grab a bottle and sip it alfresco at P&V Wine Merchant’s new Paddington venue.
For fans of all things funky, wild, and maybe a little bit sour, you’ll be familiar with P&V Wine Merchants. Located in the heart of the inner west on Enmore Road, this top-notch bottle shop is the go-to spot for anyone searching for a killer drop, delicious brew or stellar spirit.
And now, the P&V team has expanded with a new venue in the east. Say hello to P&V Wine & Liquor Merchants Paddington, the all-new bottle shop and bar.
Co-owners Mike Bennie and Lou Dowling have launched this new concept space as a spot to score a bottle of vino and sip it on-site in their alfresco courtyard out the back (for a small corkage fee). Whether you’re grabbing a bottle of organic vino, craft beer, or even a booze-free option, this is the perfect relaxed spot to try something new.
The new venue (located on Oxford Street) will also welcome Porcine, a French-style bistro, which will be opening upstairs in mid-March 2021. Expect the diner to be open three nights a week, run by Nicholas Hill (ex-Old Fitz) and Henry Levy (ex-Don Peppino’s).
This new P&V outpost is designed to be the kind of place where you can nab a bottle off the shelve, and crack it open on-site. It’s captured the same spirit as their original Newtown spot, but with a bigger space for visitors to sip and linger in.
And even for those just visiting the wine bar downstairs, you’ll be able to score, charcuterie, a vegan ploughman’s platter, and even bar snacks from the team behind Bloodwood.
Find P&V Wine & Liquor Merchants open now at 268 Oxford Street Paddington.
The crew is offering delivery during these stricter COVID restriction periods (25th June 2021).
