Middlebar, The New Lo-Fi

Bars, Drink, Sydney / 29 July 2015

Let us welcome… MIDDLEBAR!

Middlebar launched last Friday and will henceforth be known as the new Lo-Fi, bringing even more dancers and gin lovers to Darlinghurst.
Middle Bar 4
Middle bar sits above Kinselas in Taylor Square and has replaced popular party bar Lo-Fi. Flaunting a new Cuban inspired fit out expect good drinks and regular DJs.
You will find Lee Potter Cavanagh (Formerly of Whisky Jerx) running the bar, working alongside David Rozario (Baxters Inn) who will be running the venue. Expect a drinks menu inspired by Old Havana in Cuba, ditching the rum focus for gin.
Middle Bar 5
Get ready for DIY Gin and tonics! Behind the bar you will find the gin menu. The DIY menu gives you the option to select your favourite gin, tonic of choice and pair it with garnishes ranging from cucumber to grapefruit.
There is also a selection of Daiquiri’s, wines, beers and Cuban inspired Cocktails.
Middle Bar 3
Middle bar will also be pumping beats, with local DJ’s spinning the records each week. Middlebar aims to host sideshows of touring international DJs to complement a strong line –up of local residents. The level will have the dance floor pumping until 3am.
If you are after some bar snacks Johnny Wong’s Dumpling Bar is just downstairs with juicy pork buns, prawn gow gees and roast duck baos.
