Ripples Little Manly: Sydney’s Best-Kept Beachfront Secret

Cafes, Eat, Restaurants, Sydney / 13 March 2023

Ripples Little Manly is serving up casual coastal fare with a generous side of seaside vibes.

Overlooking Little Manly Cove, this former takeaway kiosk has been completely transformed into a Mediterranean-inspired eatery, paying homage to the Drakopoulos family’s Greek heritage.

Led by Chef Ben Elliot, previously behind the scenes at Ventuno and The Fenwick, the contemporary Australian menu has a Mediterranean influence, featuring fresh, locally-sourced produce. And the best part? You can dine in or take away and enjoy your meal while soaking up the sun on the beach.

While Sydney Restaurant Group has long been associated with high-end, fine-dining restaurants, they’ve been broadening their horizons. At Ripples Little Manly the focus is on exceptional service and quality cuisine, offering a laid-back ambience and elevated casual dining experience that’s perfect for any occasion. And it’s completely BYO, with a range of non-alcoholic options including beer and mocktails available.

Designed to connect the space to its coastal surroundings, the interior features sustainably sourced eucalyptus poles, raw timber, and woven rattan accents, creating the perfect atmosphere for a beachfront eatery.

Director Bill Drakopoulos is thrilled to finally share this venue with the public, saying “We hope to do this unique location justice with BYO, a beautiful dining setting, and options for casual beachside takeaway. We intend for it to be refined casual dining that can be enjoyed whilst soaking up the sun after a swim at the beach.”

Ripples Little Manly is currently taking reservations for breakfast and lunch 7 days a week, and dinner Wednesday-Sunday. And if you’re looking to host a private event, you can make an enquiry via their website
