Jordons Seafood Closes

Restaurants, Sydney / 15 July 2011

Sad Day or Good Riddance?

Iconic restaraunt Jordons Seafood Restaurant opened in Darling Harbour in 1988. With over 120 staff and seating for 594 diners it was the biggest seafood restaurant on the east coast. During the Olympics it took $1 million a week. OnTuesday it closed it’s doors due to an increase in rent and not enough patrons walking through the door. So, do we mourn the end of an era or rejoice in the trend away from overpriced, average seafood?
