Experience free live jazz in The Rocks every Thursday as Sydney’s historic precinct comes alive with music, atmosphere and community.
Jazz Sessions in The Rocks returns for its third year, transforming The Rocks Square into an open-air stage for contemporary Australian jazz. Curated by the Sydney Improvised Music Association (SIMA), the weekly series spotlights the depth, diversity and energy of the local jazz scene in one of Sydney’s most iconic settings.
Clock off and make your way down to The Rocks for an easy after-work ritual that blends live music, atmosphere and community. Running every Thursday night through the season, the program invites locals and visitors alike to settle in, unwind and let the music carry the evening in the heart of the city.
Set within The Rocks Square, the experience is designed to be relaxed and welcoming. There’s no need to book, just turn up, grab a seat and enjoy two sets of live jazz under the evening sky. Find out more here.
