Free Weekly Music Sessions Arrive at The Old Clare Hotel

Cool Sh*t, Drink, Sydney / 17 July 2019

Jazz up your hump day with some FREE funk and soul, with the Clare Bar’s Spin Out sessions.

Looking for a new session to ease your mid-week blues? Don’t fret, The Clare Bar at The Old Clare Hotel and 2ser radio station (107.3 FM) have you sorted with their new Spin Out sessions.

Starting July 17, you’ll be able to pop into The Clare Bar from 5pm – 9pm for a chill post-work session, where you can let off some steam with cocktail in hand or get into the groove of things and have a dance to the tunes.

DJs from 2ser will set the mood, providing a variety of beats to ramp up your mood, with soul, funk, jazz and alt hip hop beats.

The Old Clare Hotel is no stranger to great music, many of its previous nights hosting prominent Sydney DJs with a platform to showcase their talents.

Previously the decks have welcomed the likes of Nina Las Vegas, Good God’s Jimmy Sing and have hosted DJ Levins’ monthly party, Ro Sham Bo. As well as a stack of national and international talents, The Clare Bar has also in previous years welcomed indie record label Elephant Traks.

2ser is a community radio station in Sydney, that is heavily driven by its volunteer network. Management of The Clare Bar see this partnership as a way to give back to the station that does so much for its community, whilst simultaneously providing a great music-filled evening to bar goers.

The line-up for the first six weeks of ‘Spin Out’ sessions has been released, and the first to be spinning the tunes are as follows:

  • Weds Jul 17: Paris Groovescooter (5-7) & Shan (7-9)
  • Weds Jul 24: Hober Mallow (5-7) & Meem (7-9)
