Three men who are on a mission to help Australia drink better beer have created the new one-stop-shop for the best craft beers, called BeerBud.com.au. Co-founder Andy Williamson and his friends Alex Gale and Mark Woollcott want to help local breweries market and distribute their beers more widely so buyers can make more informed decisions when beer shopping. The shop offers over 100 craft beers, mixed cases and exclusive limited edition releases from more than 30 of Australia’s best craft breweries.
With craft beer becoming more and more popular, BeerBud will also offer craft beer events and experiences to increase the availability of Australian craft beers, which are limited in bottle shops. These will include tasting and information sessions, meet the brewers, brewery tours and the opportunity to create your very own beer.
BeerBud have also joined together with Prickly Moses, to launch a limited release craft beer called Prickly Mo, to help raise funds for Movember. It’s full of flavour but well balanced by red caramel and toffee malts and is filled with citrusy and floral aromas with some slightly earthy undertones. All profits from the sale of Prickly Mo will be donated to the Movember Foundation, which is a global organisation committed to changing the face of men’s health.
