Vin-Cenzo’s Turns One With a Block Party Down Liverpool Street

Vin-Cenzo’s 1st Birthday Brings Tipo 00 and Giorgio De Maria to Darlinghurst

Vin-Cenzo’s marks its first birthday on Sunday 20 September with a collaborative lunch and block party, teaming up with Melbourne institution Tipo 00 and Sydney sommelier Giorgio De Maria. It’s the second instalment of The Goodies Hospitality’s Goodies & Friends series, following Dan Hunter’s takeover at Bessie’s, and comes a year after Vin-Cenzo’s opened on the former Bar Vincent site.

Lunch runs from 12.30pm to 3pm, with Tipo 00’s Andreas Papadakis joining the kitchen for a shared menu spanning vitello tonnato, tagliolini al nero and veal saltimbocca, poured alongside Giorgio De Maria’s wine picks from Campania, Barolo and Tuscany. From 3pm, the celebration spills onto Liverpool Street for a free, no-bookings block party, with Italian snacks and drinks served well into the night.
