Orange Wine Festival Returns For Ten Days Of Cool-Climate Celebration

The Orange Wine Festival Brings More Than 40 Events To The Orange Wine Region This Spring

Mark the calendar, because the Orange Wine Festival is coming back to the Central Ranges from Friday 16 to Sunday 25 October 2026, and this year’s edition is bigger than ever. Across ten glorious spring days, more than 40 events will pour out the very best of the Orange Wine Region — think award-winning cool-climate wines, rare vertical tastings, behind-the-scenes cellar door access, long lazy lunches, winemaker dinners and parties that spill out under the stars.

The festival kicks off on Friday 16 October with the Orange Wine Festival Night Market. Wander through the park tasting cool-climate wines from the region’s best producers while local chefs and food makers dish up plates that celebrate the provenance of the land. It’s one of Orange’s most-loved annual nights out, and the perfect entry point into ten days of indulgence.

Later in the program, Sip & Savour: The Ultimate Wine Tasting takes over the atmospheric Agricultural Pavilion at Orange Showground on Friday 23 October, pouring more than 300 wines fresh from the recently judged Orange Wine Show under one roof. It’s a rare chance to taste the trophy winners and get a full sense of the breadth and creativity coming out of this cool-climate powerhouse in a single, immersive night.

Running throughout the festival is the Vintners’ Table Series, an intimate dining experience pairing exceptional Orange wines with thoughtfully matched courses, hosted directly by the winemakers themselves. Expect real conversations, real stories and a genuine seat at the table alongside the people behind the bottles.

The full 2026 Orange Wine Festival program, including individual event and ticketing details, drops at the end of July 2026, so keep an eye out. In the meantime, general tickets are on sale now.
