The hatted Middle Eastern restaurant marks ten years on Crown Street
Nour Decade of Dishes returns to the Surry Hills favourite from 3rd to 13th September, pulling ten years of signature plates back onto one menu. It is a rare chance to eat through the restaurant’s own history in a single sitting, built by the four chefs who have shaped the kitchen since it opened in 2016.
Executive chef Ibrahim Kasif has gone back through the archives for this one, drawing out the dishes regulars keep asking for. Expect Roy Ner’s chicken bits shawarma and pumpkin shish barak, Ben Williamson’s crispy cauliflower, and Paul Farag’s woodfired coconut basbousa, plated together across four courses for one ten day run only. It is a menu built on nostalgia rather than novelty, and worth booking ahead for.
