The Northern Beaches Rivalry Dinner pits Alessandro Pavoni against Giovanni Pilu for one night only
Ormeggio at The Spit hosts its iconic Northern Beaches Rivalry Dinner, where long-time friends and rival chefs Alessandro Pavoni and Giovanni Pilu go head-to-head. For more than two decades, the pair have shared a friendship built on a mutual love of Italian food, great produce and a healthy dose of competition. Their annual Rivalry Dinner celebrates both, bringing two distinct culinary philosophies to the table over a unique two-part dining series. Guests can expect a collaborative four-course menu for $140 per person, with matched wines available for $85 per person. Note that the regular à la carte and sharing menus won’t be available for this special event.
