Month of Lallier Brings Premium Champagne to The Dry Dock

This October, The Dry Dock is celebrating spring the best way it knows how: with Champagne. For the whole month, the historic Balmain pub is handing its by-the-glass and bottle pour over to Lallier, one of Champagne’s most respected Grower houses, giving guests the chance to sip premium bubbles without the premium price tag.

From Thursday 1 to Saturday 31 October, both the Public House and Dining Room will pour Lallier Réflexion R.021 for $25 by the glass or $150 by the bottle. It’s a rare opportunity to enjoy a proper Grower Champagne at pub prices, rather than reserving it for special occasions alone. The timing isn’t accidental either: World Champagne Day falls on Friday 23 October, right in the middle of the month-long offer, giving guests a proper excuse to raise a glass.

Champagne is already woven into the identity of The Dry Dock, which holds one of Sydney’s most extensive pub wine lists, spanning more than 500 wines with 49 available by the glass. The Lallier takeover adds another layer to that reputation, putting a spotlight on a single producer for an entire month rather than spreading attention thin across the full list.

Whether you’re settling in for a long lunch in the Dining Room or grabbing a glass at the bar after work, the Lallier pour is available all day, every day, for the full month. It’s a low-key, no-bookings-required way to make an ordinary Tuesday feel a little more special, or to properly toast World Champagne Day when it rolls around.
