The New Beachside Oasis That’s Definitely Worthy The Drive

Drink, Sydney / 9 February 2022

The famous Bannisters Pavilion on the South Coast has just opened its sunkissed deck bar in the heart of Mollymook.

When Sydneysiders want to escape the city hustle and bustle, a trip down south never goes astray. If you’re looking for a destination that’s a stone’s throw from pristine beaches, has an on-site restaurant highlighting Australia’s best seafood and Instaworthy accommodation for you to stumble into after a few cocktails, we’ve got the perfect spot. Take the coastal route just over 3-hours south of the Sydney CBD until you reach Bannisters Pavillion in Mollymook. We suggest booking in before the weather takes a turn to check out their new summer playground, a deck bar located above the venue’s rooftop pool and amongst the treetops.

This brand new deck bar is exclusive to guests staying at the hotel (that’s right, no ring-ins). From as early as 8am, you can perch upon the sun loungers and take in an epic vista of Mollymook Beach. If you prefer to spend the day on the sand, you can head up to the bar in the afternoon for a selection of antipasto dishes and cocktails from The Rooftop Bar & Grill’s delicious menu. Think Burrata, think San Daniele Prosciutto, think locally sourced Calamari

The vibe and layout are exactly what you’d expect from this beachside venue. The styling is coastal boasting rattan furniture and a lineup of plush loungers for up to 20 guests. This is complemented by the works of William Dangar, an Australian landscape architect who has added pops of greenery to the space.

So what are you waiting for? Pack your bags, rally up the girls or your loved one and head down to this South Coast oasis before winter strikes.
