Sydney’s Best Farmers Markets

One of Sydney's most loved markets, Carriageworks Farmers Market fills Eveleigh's historic railway workshop every Saturday with over 70 NSW farmers and producers. Regulars include Pepe Saya, Pasta Gallery and Sonoma, all curated under Creative Director Mike McEnearney's strict market charter.

Set at Bondi Beach Public School, this Saturday market brings the bush to the beach with fresh produce, organic meat, flowers, baked goods and gifts. Take a morning swim, then dry off over breakfast — the Lyrebird Corn Fritters stall is a local favourite.

Now known as EQ Markets, this Wednesday and Saturday fixture at the Entertainment Quarter has run for over 20 years. Alongside farm-fresh fruit and veg, expect gourmet food stalls, fashion, homewares and live entertainment, plus kid-friendly extras like jumping castles for a genuine family outing.

Also known as the Leichhardt Markets, Orange Grove has run every Saturday for over 20 years at Orange Grove Public School. Expect certified organic fruit and veg, French breads, deli goods and fashion stalls — plus some of Sydney's best bacon and egg rolls.

Held twice monthly under the trees of Ted Mack Civic Park, Northside Produce Market has connected North Sydney with regional growers since 1999. More than 70 stallholders bring fruit, veg, cheese, wine, flowers, bread and meat, with proceeds supporting the North Sydney Community Centre.

Every Sunday organic produce, freshly baked goods, local distillers and plenty of food stalls gather at Addison Road Centre in Marrickville for one of the Inner West's best weekend markets. For the kids, there's often pony rides on the green, too!
