The Basement

Slide

Walk down the red carpet and enter the decadent cabaret space that is Slide. With a large stage, floor and mezzanine dining sections and a diverse roster of live shows, Slide is a great place to go for a special occasions. This venue offers both a delicious culinary experience and tantalising performances. Great for functions or just a romantic night out, Slide is a world of its own.

Camelot Lounge

Hidden in a warehouse tucked into the back streets of industrial Marrickville is where you’ll find Camelot Lounge. Known for its quirky aesthetic and fabulous roster of national and international artists, Camelot Lounge is a hidden gem. Originally Quirkz, this venue now has two stages offering everything from burlesque and life drawing to internationally renowned musicians from every genre. Their small kitchen manages to dish out good food at very reasonable prices and their bar and waitstaff are always warm and accommodating. For something a little off the beaten track head to Camelot Lounge and soak up the fun.

The Vanguard

The Vanguard is home to everything alternative and extraordinary. With frequent burlesque shows, movie screenings and live music events this well loved venue has something for everyone. This intimate vintage space is equipped with a full kitchen that serves up a mix of soul food and modern Australian cooking. The luxurious yet unpretentious 1920s fit out makes for a memorable night out, and the intimate space allows you to get up close and personal with some of your favourite performers.

This artist run performance space features great musical and theatrical acts and runs from Monday to Saturday. Showcasing a wide range of musical genres from reggae and soul to swing – all are welcome here. Great for a low key night in a venue with an underground feel and ample dance space. The restaurant serves a wide range of share style bar food from Monday to Saturday and extends their menu to include mains on the weekend.
