In the heart of Rozelle, just off the main road and across from Rozelle Public School, lies Rozelle Espresso a place you can get it all. This charismatic café is a busy nest for locals wanting great coffee, big portions and seasonal specials seven days a week. But where they really buzz is on weekend.
Dine inside Rozelle Espresso with the comfort of air-con on a hot summers day. Or if the weather is more forgiving alfresco dining awaits. You can’t go wrong with a Campos coffee but in the warmer months we recommend ordering one of their fresh juices. The fruit and veg combination of carrot and watermelon does the trick to refresh and refuel. Still need that caffeine buzz? Try one of their iced coffees or iced chocolates.
Their breakfast menu is all day and their lunch menu is extensive so there are options for everyone. Go the big brekkie if you want it all; eggs cooked your way, served with bacon, chorizo, roasted mushrooms, tomatoes and sourdough toast. It comes with a freshly squeezed orange juice for $21.90. If you want something a bit smaller, but still filling, try the classic market style bacon and egg roll ($9) or the smoked salmon on rye with goats cheese, rocket and capers ($15.90). Other popular menu items include the zucchini and sweet corn fritters, which come served with avocado-tomato salsa and sour scream ($17.90). Add bacon or salmon for an extra $4.50.
For those with a sweet tooth you can’t go wrong with the Belgium waffles served with fresh banana, strawberries and drizzled with maple syrup ($17.50).
The lunch menu comprises of spanner crab angel hair pasta ($24) burgers ($14.9), cheesy melts ($8.3), wraps ($14.9) and a mix of other classics like salads, schnitzels, sandwiches and dessert.
