Immerse yourself in the wine-soaked lifestyle of the Hunter Valley Uncorked Festival at Sydney’s Balmoral Beach.
Hunter Valley Uncorked Festival is back and set to be bigger than ever, landing on the sunny shores of Balmoral Beach for a day of wining and food sampling in the spring sunshine. Come Sunday 7th October from 11am-5pm, vino enthusiasts will be treated to a day long celebration of the Hunter Valley’s finest selection of drops, courtesy of Wine Selectors.
There will plenty of big names on display, including Tulloch Wines, Tyrrell’s Wines, Brokenwood Wines, Briar Ridge Vineyard, Pepper Tree Wines, Peter Drayton Wines and plenty more. With a glass of vino in hand, meander through the myriad of stalls whilst also sampling a range of gourmet delights.
Don’t miss the wine and BBQ pairing sessions, Alfresco Tastes. Teaming up with Heston Blumenthal’s Everdure, each of the six sessions will introduce a different barbecuing technique. From Tex Mex, to Greek and Dessert, tickets to the BBQ sessions can be purchased on the day for $10 per person.
Sydney Oyster Girls will be serving up freshly shucked oysters, whilst the Hunter Valley Cheese Factory will be there to tantalise your taste buds with a selection of oozy gooey cheeses.
Fancy a break from the vino? Those looking for reprieve from the broad selection of wines will also be treated to the finest spirits from Hunter Distillery and award-winning gin from Copperwave Distilled Gin.
Entry is free with wine-tasting packages available from $26 to $31 per person. Guests can pre-purchase tasting packages and go in the running to win a mixed dozen case of premium Hunter Valley wine valued at more than $300.
On the day, there will be free event shuttle buses running every 15 minutes from Mosman and Spit Junction to Balmoral Beach. Hunter Valley Uncorked Balmoral is supported by Mosman Council.
