All New Ovvio Tea

Drink, Events / 23 June 2015

While winter has nuzzled in and Sydneysiders a beginning to hibernate, Ovvio Tea have been busy preparing a new Winter Organic Tea Collection. Ovvio Tea owner Anthia Koullouros has produced a range of healthy teas perfect for winter that she launched recently at Hotel Centennial.

Ovvio-1

Anthia started out with a small line of teas in a ‘quaint corner shop in Paddington.’ Now, the brand boasts some impressive ambassadors: Kate Kendall of Flow Athletic, Michael Checker, coach of the Wallabies and Waratahs, writer Julie Gibbs, business mentor John McGrath, and the “sweet, English, tea drinking Burgess brothers”.

The launch was spiced up with some gin cocktails served in teacups and finger food by chef Justin North. North matched his food to the flavours and ingredients in Anthia’s teas, saying that “the balance of flavours is so beautiful that it is a joy to replicate it in the kitchen”.

North served up five canapés, some of which were infused with tea.
