It’s a way to catch up with mates, let off some steam and explore the newest bars, restaurants and pubs open across our sparkling city. But if you’re looking to switch on and expand your skillset (with a drink in hand), this next event is the perfect way to tick all the boxes.
Meet The Blend by Chivas, a blend your own whisky experience landing in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and the Gold Coast this November. Hosted by the original luxury blended Scotch whisky brand Chivas, this event series delivers a string of guided tasting sessions, hands-on whisky blending workshops plus nibbles and drinks to keep you fed and watered throughout the entire experience. The Chivas team have partnered with some of the best bars across the country to bring this experience to life, including Sydney’s The Wild Rover, The Doss House, East Village and The Roosevelt plus Melbourne’s The Everleigh, Beneath Driver Lane and The Epsy.
So, what can you expect from these events? Each one-hour experience includes a Chivas signature cocktail on arrival, a full whisky blending experience with Chivas Brand Ambassador Hollie Atkinson, nibbles plus every attendee will walk away with their very own 200ml whisky blend to show off. The experience kicks off with a bespoke welcome cocktail, a Gold Fashion showcasing Chivas Extra XV. Taste your way through samples of four single malt whiskies and one single grain whisky, each showcasing a different flavour characteristic of the traditional Chivas blend. Complete the experience with a pipette, beaker and a glass of one of the world’s best-loved blended Scotch whiskies, Chivas 12 as guests are invited to explore, experiment and test their senses to craft their own unique blend.
