This summer’s beverage refreshment comes in the form of a popsicle!
Does anyone else remember coming home from school as a child and rushing to the freezer for that Zooper Dooper you’d been dreaming of all day? Unfortunately for most of us, the iced popsicle joy has managed to fizzle out over the years. Until now! The solution to bringing back the joy of popsicles to adults has returned in 2016. The answer was right in front of us all along. Just add alcohol!
POP, a new alcoholic popsicle brand, is set to take Aussie summer by storm. Champagne, Bellini and Prosecco ice blocks will be hitting our shores for beachside refreshment all summer long! Check out their Instagram page to see where you’ll be able to grab a few of these over summer.
Now the trend is spreading to some of our favourite bars too! Zeta Bar is located within the Hilton Hotel in Sydney’s CBD and is known for a sophistcated night out and their unique, experimental cocktails. It also has an incredible rooftop bar that overlooks the whole CBD, which you can read all about in our Best Sydney Rooftop Bars!
Zeta Bar has recently introduced Zeta Popsicle Cocktails to their menu. With the help of Belvedere Vodka, they’ve introduced three flavoured popsicle cocktails all made with a Belvedere Vodka base. Flavours include a citrusy Sgroppino, an orange and raspberry Americana and an Espresso Lollypop.
Zeta Popsicle Cocktails are all $15, the same as their standard Belvedere cocktails. These too come in a range of different flavours, with different alcoholic and non-alcoholic mixers to keep everyone refreshed in the sunshine.
Zeta Popsicle Cocktails will be available until the end of January, making for the perfect summer experience!
One Shuck Buck returns to Zeta Bar!
Starting from January 10th, Zeta Bar is also bringing back its popular One Buck Shuck on Tuesdays throughout summer!
Oyster lovers will have the opportunity to enjoy freshly shucked oysters every Tuesday evening from 6pm until sold out. The oysters come natural ($1) or seasoned with either a delicious cucumber and mint garnish or ponzu soy with chilli and ginger garnish ($2 each). Making for the perfect accompaniment, Zeta Bar will also be offering a choice of either chilled bubbles, Chandon Vintage 2012, available by the glass for $13 or bottle for $65*.
