Woollahra is set to come alive from Friday, 28th March, to Sunday, 30th March, with the Woollahra Festival 2025 Weekend.
This special event marks a unique milestone, celebrating the iconic 2025 postcode in the year 2025. Over three days, the Queen Street village will be transformed into a vibrant hub of live entertainment, dining experiences, shopping events, and cultural activities, bringing together the best of the area’s rich history and modern charm.
From late-night shopping with bubbles and canapés to a Literary Festival, jazz performances in Chiswick Park, and hands-on art and design workshops, the Woollahra Festival offers something for everyone. The weekend will also feature classical music, an extensive family-friendly program, and exclusive offers from some of the area’s most beloved venues.
A highlight of the festival, the Woollahra Hotel precinct—home to the iconic Woollahra Hotel, French dining destination Bistro Moncur, and the boutique Moncur Cellars—will be offering an array of food, drink, and entertainment experiences throughout the weekend.
At Woollahra Hotel, guests can enjoy a glass of Piper Heidsieck Champagne for $20, or opt for a full bottle at $99. A pop-up Piper Champagne cart on Queen Street will be serving bubbles from Friday evening through the weekend. The takeaway menu will feature indulgent festival specials, including $20 burgers, $10 fries, and $20 for four skewers from the Hibachi grill, with options like chicken satay, beef teriyaki, and miso prawn. Those looking for a refreshing cocktail can sip on Don Julio Margarita slushies for $15 or enjoy a non-alcoholic version for $10. A late-night menu will also be available, featuring $20 steak and chips, running from midday to 10 PM on Friday and Saturday and until 9 PM on Sunday. Live music will set the scene, with performances from 3 PM to 6 PM on Saturday and 2 PM to 8 PM on Sunday.
Bistro Moncur will bring a touch of Parisian elegance to the weekend, offering a $55 main course with a glass of wine from midday to 6 PM, Friday through Sunday.
Wine lovers can explore Moncur Cellars, where all Tyrrell’s Wines will be available at 20% off throughout the festival. Jane Tyrrell herself will be hosting an exclusive tasting in the cellar from 5 PM to 7 PM on Friday evening during the late-night shopping event. Those interested in hosting an intimate gathering can view and book Moncur Cellars’ private dining room over the weekend and receive a complimentary bottle of Charles Heidsieck Champagne.
The official launch of the Woollahra Festival 2025 will take place at Parterre, 33 Ocean Street, on Friday, 28 March, at 7 PM. Guests will enjoy live music, canapés, and freshly shucked oysters, with an opening address by Sarah Swan, Mayor of Woollahra.
