Nothing says winter like flowing mulled wine and melted cheesy goodness in a pop-up glamping tent.
The Winery in Surry Hills is turning up the heat this winter with a cosy bohemian-inspired wonderland. Running from June 14th until August 31st, this inner-city hideaway is giving you all the decadent winter goodness with bottomless mulled wine, cheesy raclette, pop-up teepees and more.
Take your pick from one of two private teepees which can accomodate you and up to 9 friends. They come fitted out with floor cushions, oversized dreamcatchers and a colour scheme of powder pink hues and creams. Every Instagrammer’s dream.
At the dedicated raclette station, you’ll be quick to swoon over this classic French winter treat, with raw baby veggies, crudité’s skewers, sliced bresaola, lonza (pork lion) and roasted mushrooms making for the perfect melted cheese companions.
Other decadent winter dishes include a reisling and honey roasted camembert ($22), French onion grilled cheese ($15) and olive pate with almond ricotta toasts ($12). As for sweets, a tiramisu baked bomb alaska is guaranteed bring the wow factor, accompanied with a hot chocolate cannoli ($14) served with chocolate cream and marshmallows.
Those looking to up the luxury quota can otherwise choose from set glamping packages. Starting from $59pp, the Happy Glamper package includes raclette, french onion cheese, hot chocolate cannoli, a Jacobs Creek wine paddle and wine tastings.
For those looking for a touch more booze in their glamping adventure, the Bottomless Glamper package comes in at $79pp. This includes 2 hours of bottomless mulled wine or alternatively sangria, available in red, white or rosé varieties.
The Winery is offering glamping cheese and wine packages from Thursday to Sunday, now until 31st August.
