Westpac OpenAir Cinema Returns For An Extended Season This December

Eat, Film & Art, Play / November 25, 2020

Experience the world’s most beautiful cinema this summer, Westpac OpenAir Cinema, kicking off from December 15th.

When booking a trip to the cinema we rarely think about the venue itself. But, when it comes to this epic outdoor cinema, the views are well and truly the best part of the show. Taking up residence at the stunning Mrs Macquaries Point, Westpac OpenAir Cinema has kicked off this month, set to host 44 nights of top-notch entertainment with a side of sparkling water views.

And this week, we’ve just had the dates for Westpac OpenAir’s 2020/2021 season. Save the date: the world’s most beautiful cinema will be kicking off on December 15th (much earlier than usual), and running all the way until February 24th, 2021.

As with all events at the moment, Westpac OpenAir cinema will be running a slightly reduced capacity, explaining why they’ve opted for the extended season length this time around.

It’s set to be another popular season for this iconic alfresco event. Earlier this year, the last season of Westpac Openair attracted thousands of punters from across the city. While the details of the film program and top-notch food and drink offerings are yet to be announced, we’ll share those details as soon as they come to hand.
