Wahroonga Park is set to host a brand-new food and wine festival this Sunday 2nd March, as Sparkling Wahroonga debuts with a lineup of NSW’s best wineries, distilleries, craft brewers, and gourmet food stalls.
The free-entry festival, organised by the team behind the Wahroonga Food & Wine Festival, will bring together 30 wineries, including De Beaurepaire Wines, Hungerford Hill, Petersons House, and Tamburlaine Organic Wines, showcasing everything from crisp sparklings to bold reds. Ten small-batch distilleries will also be pouring, featuring craft spirits from Remnant Whisky Co., Bondi Liquor Co., and Distillery Botanica, alongside two local breweries—Six String Brewing Company and Depot Beer.
Food lovers can indulge in woodfired pizzas from Lucio Pizzeria, Argentinian empanadas from Che, fresh seafood from Fish Face Bar & Grill, slow-cooked barbecue from Smokey Sue’s, and handmade gnocchi from The Gnocchi Way. Meanwhile, The Greens North Sydney will bring an elevated dining experience, serving caviar, oysters, lobster rolls, and a Piper-Heidsieck Champagne bar.
There will also be an artisan producer showcase with 15 stalls featuring local produce, handmade goods, and gourmet treats, plus live music all day on the rotunda stage.
While entry is free, those keen to sample the wines can purchase a $38.50 tasting package, which includes a festival-branded wine tumbler and five tasting tickets.
