Three Williams celebrates the return of our beloved truffle season with a drool-worth limited edition menu.
The start of the cooler months coincides with the flavoursome and fragrant season of the truffle harvest, winter’s most treasured ingredient. Redfern’s beloved cafe, Three Williams, is celebrating the highly sought after fungus, with the return of its mouthwatering truffle-inspired menu. The seven-dish menu, available from the start of truffle season (estimated to be early June), is set to bring back plenty of old favourites alongside some tasty new additions.
You’ll find the #foodstagram worthy Mac and Cheese Croissant ($35), served with a decadent truffle mac and cheese croquette, jamon, poached egg, napoletana sauce, shaved parmesan, shaved truffle, rocket and lemon salad.
It sits alongside other dishes including the Roasted Peking Duck Angel Hair Pasta ($38), laced with ginger-infused cream sauce, parsley, fried onion crumb and fresh truffle.
Come wearing your stretchy pants, with other plates including Three Cheese Waffle Fries ($22) plus Truffle and Provolone sausage ($36).
At the helm of this special truffle menu is Head Chef Jacqui Ektoros (formerly of Devon Café, Guillaume at Bennelong), whose spent months planning and testing the new 2019 dishes. One of Ektoros’ highlights from this year’s menu is a dish that showcases the 2018 world’s best pork sausage.
