The team behind some of Sydney’s most exciting food venues has opened Tommy Panini’s second site in Bondi.
By day, Tommy Panini delivers indulgent sandwiches with premium ingredients and playful twists, a concept that already has a cult following on the Northern Beaches. The Bondi edition has proven just as popular, selling out before 1pm across its first weekend. At night, the venue flips into Pizza Laundry, a pizza-and-wine bar designed to look and feel like a New York-style laundromat. Expect thin, crisp, foldable slices alongside a cleverly casual space built for Bondi locals.
The menus are straightforward but thoughtful. Tommy Panini highlights slow-cooked meats, melty cheese, and house-made sauces, the Beef & Pickles Panini with “Marry Me Sauce” is already a crowd favourite. At Pizza Laundry, it’s all about bold flavours paired with simplicity, like the Spicy Roni Pizza, mozzarella, pecorino, pepperoni, and pickled chilli.
