Time Out Restaurant of the Year Announced

Rushcutter’s Bay restaurant ACME has taken out Time Out Sydney’s Food Awards winning Restaurant of the Year. They also bagged two additional awards with Hot Talent going to their Chef Analiese Gregory and their Chef Mitch Orr being awarded runner-up for Chef of the Year. Time Out Australia CEO, Michael Rodrigues stated “We are thrilled to award the ACME team the award for Restaurant of the Year… they aren’t afraid to mix things up, pairing flavours and trying new things…love them or hate them, nobody is making food like ACME right now.”
More than 300 of the cities culinary experts, professional eaters and Time Out readers partied at The Morrison in recognition of Sydney’s best chef’s and restaurants. Kylie Kwong was crowned Chef of the Year and Best Fine Dining Restaurant went to the CBD’s Japanese-inspired Sepia. Edition Coffee Roasters in Darlinghurst took out the award for Best Cafe and Peter Gilmore’s Bennelong in the Sydney Opera House was named Best New Restaurant.
