Meet The Thirsty Horse, the boutique wine store and deli now open at Lucio’s. It’s an exciting move for the beloved restaurant, giving Sydneysiders the chance to stock up on premium rare Italian wines, artisan Italian beers, gourmet deli goods, fresh pasta, meal kits and so much more.
Open Tuesday to Saturday from 3pm to 9pm, The Thirsty Horse is set to offer one of the best wine stores in Sydney. Stocked on the shelves are boutique Italian wines, with over 100 grape varietals on offer along with a range of local Australian drops as well.
The best bit? The Thirsty Horse is hosting FREE wine tastings every Saturday from 2-5pm. Swing by this Saturday, September 12th to join Stefano Atzeni from Italian wine importers Chentannos, who will be on-hand to guide you through his top picks as well as share his knowledge about winemaking and food pairings. Get in quick, these tastings are open to walk-ins only and spaces are limited.
Plus, The Thirsty Horse boasts a gourmet deli stocked with frozen meals, fresh pasta, delicious pasta sauces, salami, prosciutto, bresaola, mortadella, plus Lucio’s own blend of Extra Virgin Olive Oil and so much more. Plus you’ll also find a range of pre-batched cocktails, including Lucio’s signature house cocktail, the Bloody Negroni on offer.
