The Roosevelt Parent's Night

Bars, Drink, Eat, Restaurants, Sydney / 12 November 2014

Being a parent with small children means you instantly have a busy schedule and no doubt a dent in your social life. The opportunity for child-free dinners become slim, especially if you want to avoid paying for a nanny.
Those clever cocktail slingers from The Roosevelt have come up with a solution having just launched “Parent’s Night”.  Every Wednesday BYO kids and pay $20 for a nanny to feed and entertainment in the private dining room.
Meanwhile, you can dine in the Monroe Room next door. Dinner is $75 and includes three courses and a glass of champagne or martini on arrival.

Parents will dine in the Monroe Room for $75 including three courses and a glass of champagne or martini on arrival. The event starts at 5:30 with food being served at 6 until 8:30pm. An early night comfortably suited for those with kids so they can go home and put the little ones to bed.
Owner, Sven Almenning, said the idea was inspired by his own desire to dine out more with his young family.  He says it’s the perfect way to enjoy dinner alone or with friends while having piece of mind you can check on the kids at anytime.
