The Oldest Lift Bar Returns With Easter Twist

/ 12 March 2026

Sydney’s most unique bar is back with an Easter twist.

The Oldest Lift Bar at InterContinental Sydney transforms into a seasonal experience adorned with florals and Italian-inspired treats.

The experience starts inside the historic lift itself, where you’ll sip a Colomba Mini Martini crafted on the spot, paired with “The Easter Hare,” a fluffy brioche topped with smoked salmon, goat’s cheese, and carrot fronds. The cocktail takes inspiration from Italy’s traditional Easter cake, bringing unexpected seasonal flavors to this one-of-a-kind setting.

After your lift journey, head into The Treasury for the chocolate finale. Enjoy a Chocolate Bloom On The Rocks cocktail alongside a handcrafted Chocolate Nest complete with golden eggs, created by the hotel’s pastry team.

This limited-time experience combines the novelty of drinking cocktails in a working historic lift with decadent chocolate creations and Italian Easter flavors. It’s running until 4th April.
