Say cheers to an extra hour of fun at The Glenmore x POOLCLVB’s Sundown Sessions this long weekend.
It’s Sydney’s favourite time of year. The day when we all wind forward the clocks, say hello to longer days and sundrenched evenings. That’s right, daylight savings is nearly here. And what better way to celebrate than at a huge rooftop party overlooking Sydney’s sparkling harbour.
If you’re looking for the perfect way to toast an extra day of freedom, look no further than this next pop-up event. Introducing Sundown Sessions at The Glenmore, a free dance party located on The Glenmore’s iconic rooftop. For one day only on October 6th, this landmark hotel in the heart of The Rocks will be transformed into a destination of live music, beer and cocktails. Who could think of a better way to spend the long weekend?
The festivities kick off on Sunday morning, with doors opening at 11 am. Punters are encouraged to head to The Glenmore’s rooftop space to soak in the stunning Sydney Harbour views with a drink in hand. And when it comes to beverages, you won’t be disappointed. Stop by the event’s signature 4 Pines pop-up bar to nab yourself a jug of locally brewed beer ($22). Fancy something a little sweeter? Make sure to order a cocktail jug from Ketel 1 Botanical ($34) to complete your spring rooftop experience. With flavours like Cucumber and Mint, Peach and Orange Blossom and Grapefruit and Rose, you’ll want to gather your crew to try them all. Plus, grab a feed from The Glenmore’s food menu before the party really gets started.
To set the mood, live music will kick off at 1 pm with a series of Sydney’s best DJs taking the stage. Funk musician Harvey Music will be hitting the decks from 1-4 pm, before Constable Smallsman steps up from 4-6:30 pm before the headline act POOLCLVB gets started at 6:30 pm.
Plus, the good vibes continue throughout the warmer months with Acoustic Sundays hosted at The Glenmore every week during summer.
