Keystone Group have recently opened a luxury champagne bar on the upper level of The Winery in Surry Hills called The Champagne Room. Exclusively serving Perrier-Jouët champagne, The Champagne Room is the only bar in Australasia where you can order a glass of their exquisite Belle Epoque.
With picturesque views of the city skyline this divine champagne chateaux is the perfect location to soak up a sunset. Mismatched vintage chandeliers light up the Art Nouveau-inspired interior and the well-stocked cocktail bar. Exclusive leather booths and a modest dance floor ensure a night of jolly clinking glasses. The classic Grand Brut ($17 / $99) is a light, fruity and floral champagne that is a dangerously delightful. Its more full-bodied relative, the Blason Rose ($22 / $129) is a delicious blend of rose and orange flowers.
The menu offers a wide range of fine seafood including freshly shucked oysters served with a champagne viniagrette (4ea) and three different types of caviar. As recommended by knowledgeable staff, try the Ciroc Snap Frost Vodka to compliment your order of caviar. The taster plate ($32) of smoked Andouille sausage, mustard fruits, parfait & Byron bay charcuterie, is a balanced selection well suited with a bottle of bubbles between friends. Dine in style with the Whole Lobster Tail with Tarragon & Mac and Cheese ($44) or the Wild Mushroom Pie with thyme and truffle salsa ($28)
