The Beekeeper Brings a Slice of Britain to Bondi

Drink / 1 December 2025

The Beekeeper has officially opened on Hall Street, transforming the heritage-listed Fellworth Flats into a classic British pub with a community-first spirit.

Brought to life by Northern Hospitality, the crew behind Chuck Trailer’s, Bondi, The Beekeeper is a nostalgic nod to the owners’ Northern English heritage. Expect all the trimmings: Ploughman’s lunches, Scotch Eggs, Fish & Chips, Gammon dinners, and the quintessential Sunday Roast, all served with authenticity and plenty of pub banter. English-born Head Chef Kevin Davis — whose Bondi credentials include Drake and Neighbourhood — leads the kitchen, while behind the bar you’ll find proper pints of Guinness, seasonal hand-pulled ales, and even $10 mini martinis for those after something a little sleeker.

Housed in a building that dates back to 1910, the pub retains its historic charm, from pressed metal ceilings and sash windows to a working fireplace. True to its name, The Beekeeper pays homage to Manchester’s worker bee — a symbol of hard work and community — promising to be a buzzing local hive for Bondi.
