Sydney’s Going Wild For This Cabaret Show At The Opera House

Play / 23 February 2026

The green light is glowing once more.

Returning by popular demand this summer, GATSBY at the Green Light sweeps back into the Studio at Sydney Opera House, inviting audiences to slip into a world of sequins, seduction and spectacle. Presented by Caper & Crow, the immersive cabaret reimagines the myth and mood of The Great Gatsby as a high-voltage night out.

Inside the Studio, the room transforms into a 1920s-inspired club pulsing with live music, aerial artistry and scandalously good variety. Sultry vocals, gravity-defying acrobatics and contemporary choreography blur the lines between stage and audience, as performers weave through the space, on the floor, above the bar and soaring overhead. It’s opulent, intimate and unapologetically fun, earning its reputation as one of Sydney’s most coveted tickets.

At the heart of the revelry is Gatsby himself, hosting an ensemble of world-class talent. From soulful crooning and tap-dancing charm to hair-hang daring and elegant juggling, each act feeds the sense of excess and longing that defines Gatsby’s world.
