Sydney Beer Week at Applejack Hospitality (18th – 25th October)

Cellar Sessions at de Vine Food & Wine – Every Monday Until 11th November
Sydney’s iconic Italian restaurant and wine bar, de Vine Food & Wine, on Market Street, has been a beloved staple for over 21 years. This October and into November, they’re inviting the community to join their BYO Dinner every Monday. Indulge in a rotating four-course set menu crafted by Head Chef Tim Fisher, featuring exceptional Italian dishes that highlight seasonal ingredients and showcase traditional cooking techniques. Bring a bottle from your collection—corkage is included in the price—or explore Julian’s special selection of cellar wines. Each week, a different drop, usually only available by the bottle, will be available by the glass. These dinners offer the perfect opportunity to uncork a cherished bottle and discover a new favourite wine!

Barangaroo House Turns Pink
This October, Barangaroo House is celebrating the arrival of spring with Rosé Rising, a month-long, free event dedicated to all things rosé across its three levels. On the rooftop at Smoke, enjoy classic French Provence rosé alongside creative cocktails like the Pink Sunset and Blush and Burn, paired with delectable snacks. On the middle level at Rekōdo, sip on Veuve Clicquot Rosé and speciality cocktails while indulging in pink-hued dishes, including tuna sang choy bao and strawberry fried ice cream. Downstairs at House Bar, guests can enjoy Chandon Rosé bubbles and frosé, complemented by tasty pink bao buns. Teddy Bear Picnic X Build-A-Bear – Throughout October
The Sheraton Grand is hosting a delightful high tea for the whole family to enjoy in the beautiful Hyde Park. Attendees can create their own Build-A-Bear while savouring a carefully curated picnic from The Sheraton Grand’s kitchen, complete with fresh salads, sandwiches, charcuterie, cheese, scones, cakes, cake pops, and cookies. The Grand Cabaret at The Emerald Room (17th – 27th October)
This October, The Emerald Room in Darlinghurst will launch Hendrick’s Grand Caberet gin. Inspired by the allure of Parisian cabaret, these limited-time events promise a night of dazzling acrobatics, live music, and eccentric performances. As you arrive, you’ll be greeted by living floral arrangements before being treated to a Grand Cabaret Royale, a special cocktail of Hendrick’s gin, cranberry, lime, and Champagne. Sydney Ceramics Market – 19th & 20th October
The Sydney Ceramics Market returns for its third year this October, showcasing over 120 ceramicists from across NSW and ACT. Hosted over two days at Eveleigh’s historic Carriageworks, the event aims to highlight emerging artists who may not yet be selling online, alongside established ceramicists with decades of experience.

Damien Pignolet Dinner at Chez Blue – Wednesday 23rd October
Renowned chef Damien Pignolet is returning to Rozelle for one night only at Chez Blue, a charming French bistro located on the site of his former restaurant, Bistro Deux. He’ll be teaming up with head chef Mark Williamson, his longtime friend and protégé, and Solotel’s executive chef, Hamish Ingham, for an evening of classic French cuisine. Westholme Wagyu, the Aussie-owned brand known for its top-notch, nature-led wagyu, is teaming up with Applejack Hospitality for the Flavour and Forage restaurant series. This exclusive dining event will take over three of Sydney’s hottest venues: Bopp & Tone on Sunday, 27th October, The Butler on Wednesday, 30th October, and Rafi, Urban Surf on Thursday, 14th November.
Each chef has been given free rein to create a one-off menu that takes Westholme’s premium wagyu to new heights. Luna Lu Dumpling Masterclass – Sunday 27th October
Luna Lu is one of our favourite spots on the Harbour, nestled in the beautiful Campbell’s Cove precinct. With stunning, uninterrupted views of the Sydney Opera House, there’s no more picturesque spot for a dumpling masterclass. For $100 per person, your experience begins with a glass of sparkling on arrival, followed by a 90-minute hands-on class guided by a Luna Lu chef, where you’ll learn to prepare two types of signature dumplings. You can enjoy them fresh or take them home with you. Plus, you’ll receive an additional five pieces of Luna Lu’s signature dumplings, prepared by the chefs after class.
