Strike a pose! Australia’s first Vogue cafe has opened at Darling Harbour

Vogue Cafe can be found in the newly completed Ribbon Building, nestled between recognisable landmarks like The W Hotel, IMAX Theatre and The International Convention Centre. Vogue Cafe Sydney covers two floors of dining with a chic cocktail bar sprawling across 550 square meters overlooking Sydney’s sparkling Darling Harbour. Fashion is the focal point of Vogue Cafe but if you need to refuel yourself after a day of shopping, this is the perfect spot!

The interior design, directed by award-winning interior architect Callie Van Der Merwe and Roberto Zambri from COOOP, honours the rich history of Vogue with a thoughtfully curated collection of iconic images from the Vogue Australia archive, including shoots with Nicole Kidman and Cate Blanchett photographed by Will Davidson and Margot Robbie photographed by Mario Sorrenti. The team at Lowan Capital has designed a space that perfectly combines fashion and food. The design approach integrates the latest fashion trends while incorporating classic traditional design elements making an inviting environment in the cosmopolitan Darling Harbour. In addition to its visual appeal, the design focuses on functionality to create a smooth dining experience. The layout optimises space, offering plenty of seating and a stunning event space for corporate events or celebrations. It is a truly unique dining experience.

The menu has been created by acclaimed chef Zachary Ng (XOPP, Restaurant Ka), emphasising local, seasonal and sustainably sourced produce to create an exceptional dining experience. Signature dishes include decadent numbers like seafood platters with live lobster and Vogue branded caviar set, premium grade caviar sustainably sourced from the Caspian Sea, accompanied with delicious mini potato scallops, seaweed crackers, chives, egg and cream fraîche. The steamed king salmon with prawn emulsion and The Devil Wears Pata are truly sensational. Portions are generous and perfect for sharing. Save some room for dessert and opt for the raspberry snowflake, a drool-worthy biscuit dessert with white chocolate ice cream, raspberry and milk sable.

Signature cocktails showcase Australian native ingredients and liquors from renowned distilleries. Some of our favourites include the Lady in Pink, a Chandon brut spritz with navel and blood oranges and the Fresh New Look, with belvedere vodka, coconut tequila, pineapple, finger lime, calpis, Midori and lemon myrtle. Cocktails range from $23 to $38.

Vogue Cafe Sydney caters to all occasions, from leisurely lunches to refined dinners, stylish cocktails, and chic events. Open Monday to Sunday from 11:30am until late. Sip on a branded Vogue latte as you take in the stunning harbour views, or book a table right before sunset to enjoy the magical golden hour.

Our tip – Secure a table just before the fireworks show at Darling Harbour, which starts at 8:30 PM every Saturday—you’ll have the best seat in the house.
