Flock to Entertainment Quarter this Sunday to explore over 100 stalls of vegan goodies at Sydney Vegan Market.
For those with a perchance for plant-based dining, you would be familiar with Sydney Vegan Market. Since launching in 2017, the team at SVM has been working tirelessly to host epic vegan-friendly pop-up events and markets each month for the past two years. From tasty vegan nosh to stalls of vegan-friendly products, these markets have become a beloved event in many Sydneysider’s calendars. With so many events and festivals under their belt, the SVM team thought a celebration was in order to mark their 2nd birthday.
On Sunday, November 17th, a big vegan-friendly party is coming to Moore Park’s Entertainment Quarter to celebrate 2 years of Sydney Vegan Markets. This free one-day event is set to run from 9am to 4pm, with a jam-packed line-up of plant-based fun. On the day, SVM is set to deliver over 100 vegan stalls with food, workshops, talks, and tonnes of vegan-friendly prizes to be won. The goal of these markets is simple, to inspire Sydneysiders to incorporate vegan products and foods in their everyday routine and to support local businesses that champion vegan, plant-based and cruelty-free production.
So, what can you expect to find at these markets this weekend? SVM is set to boast the best in food, produce, beverage, homewares, fashion, art, cosmetics, and skincare, with all stallholders plant-based, cruelty-free and vegan (so you can skip checking the labels and ingredients of everything you buy). From fancy plant-packed burgers to Acai bowls and even ethically-crafted yoga gear, you can find it all at the Sydney Vegan Market’s 2nd birthday event.
Aside from eating, drinking and shopping, the market’s TENT Talks will be hosting a series of free educational discussions to help you learn a little bit more about the vegan stallholders and their businesses. During the day, you’ll also find live music from local vegan artists plus free morning and afternoon yoga, pilates and meditation sessions. Looking to reduce waste? SVM is committed to minimising plastic and waste, so make sure to bring along your BYO containers, cups, straws, bags and cutlery to help the team out. There’s also a composting system at the markets for any punters to drop their uneaten food scraps into to help turn potential waste into soil.
Sydney Vegan Market’s 2nd birthday celebrations kick off this Sunday, November 17th from 9am to 4pm. Entry is free for all. To find out more about the one-day-only event, click here.
