Sydney’s largest celebration of Craft Beer has come back for its fourth year running. Let your taste buds do the talking as you experience different craft breweries, pubs, restaurants, galleries and pop-up installations. With over 100 events held across over 40 of Sydney’s leading venues, this week long event is expected to bring around 10,000 beer enthusiasts.
Sydney Craft Beer Week will offer both free and paid events and beer lovers can enjoy educational seminars, tap takeovers and beer high teas. The celebration will kick off this Friday October 17 at a Craft Beer Gala Event which will feature over 25 Australian and International breweries. A beer fan or not, you are invited to enjoy this night of craft beer, live music and partying.
Other events happening during the week include Blackrock Brassiere Beergustation Experiment- a four course beergustation meal with matching beers. With Craft (Pub) Crawl, punters are encouraged to try all the different types of beer before the week is over stamping their “beer passport” as they go. The Sip & Savour event will feature over 250 craft beers and ciders alongside gourmet food, home brewing, live music and interactive educational seminars.
In the week expect to see a few barbies such as The Big Pig Out which will feature 4 Pigs and all 4 Stone & Wood Beers on tap and The Sausage Fest event which will offer 5 gourmet sausages accompanied by five of Ekim’s beers.
Other noteworthy events include the Young Cavaliers Block Party at Newington Hotel and The Feral Tap Takeover and The Ultimate Beer Experience at 4 Pines Brewpub, Manly.
