Beating out cafes from across the globe, the Chippendale flagship roastery and café took home the top spot, judged on coffee quality, barista experience, customer service, innovation, ambience, sustainability, and food offerings. To mark the milestone, Toby’s Estate is shouting free specialty coffees this Thursday (Feb 27) from 7:30am to 11am at their Chippendale flagship! Yep, you can taste the world’s best brew for free, made by a lineup of Sydney’s top baristas.
During a visit to the café, George, a key team member, proudly shared insights into what makes Toby’s Estate so special, offering a glimpse behind the scenes of their award-winning operation. General Manager Jody Leslie also expressed huge excitement for the win, emphasizing the team’s dedication and the impressive variety of coffee blends on offer, including seven rotating single origins that change each month.
“We’re so thrilled with this new honour, not just for us but for all of Australia. It’s a testament to the amazing coffee that our country is so good at and that we’ve all come to love and expect,” says Jody Leslie, General Manager for Toby’s Estate.
