Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Sunset Boulevard is live at the Opera House until November

The iconic Sunset Boulevard, is set to dazzle audiences at the Sydney Opera House from August 28th to November 1st. Starring the legendary Sarah Brightman as the enigmatic Norma Desmond, this production is a captivating expedition into the glamorous yet tragic world of Hollywood’s silent film era. Sunset Boulevard tells the story of Norma Desmond, a former silent film star whose fame faded with the advent of “talkies.” Haunted by her past and desperate to reclaim her glory days, she becomes entangled in a passionate and tumultuous relationship with young screenwriter Joe Gillis.
Sarah Brightman, renowned for her role as Christine in The Phantom of the Opera, brings her extraordinary talent to the iconic character of Norma Desmond. This marks her highly anticipated return to the theatrical stage after nearly three decades.
