Warm Scrolls, Hot Sips: Sundays Is Bondi’s Newest Micro Bakery

Eat / 9 July 2025

Sundays is the latest micro bakery to roll into the neighbourhood, and it’s baking up the kind of small pleasures that locals love—think warm, gooey cinnamon scrolls and silky matcha lattes designed to start your day right.

Located at 211 Bondi Road, Sundays is the brainchild of Bondi local Laetitia, who wanted to create a space dedicated to simple joys, easy rituals, and seriously good bakes. Open Friday 8am-2pm, Saturday & Sunday 9am-2pm, this charming spot is all about doing one thing well, and that’s freshly baked scrolls!

Scrolls are rolled and baked fresh throughout the day in small batches, so you’re never far from a warm one just out of the oven. Choose from cream cheese glazed OGs, nostalgic Kinder Bueno, crumbly Biscoff, or seasonal scrolls that change monthly. And if you’re into your matcha, you’re in for a treat. The drinks menu is stacked with coconut-cloud lattes, strawberry matcha, and even a Kinder Bueno matcha hybrid that’s quickly becoming the crowd favourite.

“I wanted to create the kind of place you’d walk past and then have to walk back into,” says Laetitia. “We keep it simple, warm, and fun. Sundays energy, every day.”

Whether you’re grabbing a scroll for your beach walk, fuelling a mid-morning catch-up, or need a sweet treat to escape the chaos, Sundays is a vibe-laced stop made for the Bondi crowd.
