Summer Gin Garden

Bars, Drink, Sydney / 19 November 2014

Fancy a G&T dahlin’?
Head down to Sydney’s waterfront to celebrate all things gin at the Little Fish Summer Gin Garden. Freshly open, Little Fish boasts a herb and flower stair-garden with beautiful views of Sydney harbour.
You’re in safe hands with a gin menu specially selected by gin aficionado come Bar Manager, Adrien Charpentier. Plus, it’s the only location in Australia where you can taste the exclusive French Audemus Spirit’s Pink Pepper Gin.
Mixologists prepare a host of extravagant gin cocktails including the Lady Lavender, the Gin Bramble and the Rosemary Winds. There is 11 gins available to select from; straight up or mixed to your liking. It’s a mix of local and international offerings, with standouts like the German “Monkey 47” and Australia’s very own “Cutlass” from The West Winds.
You’ll be able to enjoy all the classics like Hendrick’s, Bombay Sapphire and Tanqueray No.10 to a cranking DJ set every Thursday (4-8pm) until 18 December.

For nibbles, Flying Fish Executive Chef Stephen Seckold has created a gin degustation collection of snacks. Staples include Sydney Rock Oysters with a Gin and Cucumber Granita and trio of cheeses and condiments. A rotating “Garden Menu” includes Spanner Crab Croquettes with fennel aioli; Cider-braised Chorizo, Tarragon and Crisp Potato Sandwich; and Half Shell Scallops with grilled herbs and rose dressing.
