You will be bubbling with excitement for the return of Sparkling Sydney Festival.
Champagne. Pet Nat. Prosecco. Bubbles. Whatever drop you prefer, sparkling wine is undeniably a celebratory drink. After the success of the inaugural Sparkling Sydney Festival in 2019, this day-long celebration of all things effervescent returns in April. From 11am to 6pm on Saturday, April 30th, Sparkling Sydney takes over Pyrmont’s Pirrama Park for a day bubbles.
Boasting over sixty sparkling wines from both local and international wineries, sip your way through some of the world’s greatest wine regions. This celebration will broaden your sparkling wine knowledge, varieties of sparkling on offer including Cuvee, Malbec, Moscato, Prosecco and more! There is plenty of local gourmet food on offer as well, as well as other sparkling treats including Six String Brewing Co craft beers, a Fever Tree Garden Bar, Brix Distillery spiced rum cocktails and refreshing Sparkling spritz. There’s even a range of non-alcoholic sparkling wines from Spain with Vinzero.
With an iconic location on the water’s edge of Pirrama Park, guests can enjoy a sparkling wine paired with a round of freshly shucked oysters, take part in scrub masterclasses, or just relax in the sun and listen to the live music. The line-up of music features contemporary Jazz fused with indie pop, electro swing and New Orleans’s classics. On the main stage, you’ll see Crawfish Po’Boys, Electro Alley and Spyglass. In the DJ Garden Lounge, you’ll enjoy blissful tunes by DJ’s Kate Monroe and Charlie Villas, mixing their unique musical fusion of disco, RnB, soul and house. What better way to spend the weekend!
