Merivale and The Glenlivet are combining forces to bring you one very special laneway experience with Dan Hong!

There’s something special about a foodie laneway experience. The way it takes you back to your fondest travelling memories, wandering through the bustling Nishiki markets in Kyoto or perhaps eating your weight in curry down the famous Brick Lane in London. While you can’t travel far for your favourite street foods, Merivale and The Glenlivet are bringing you the ultimate laneway experience right here in Sydney on the 6th and 7th of May – Introducing Shanghai Nights.

For two nights only, experience the sights, sounds, smells and flavours of Shanghai without the need for a boarding pass. Once you enter Bridge Lane in the heart of the CBD, you’ll feel like you’ve been magically transported to the chaotically delicious streets of modern Shanghai.

Dan Hong’s decadent Chinese flavours will be brought to life across three unique food stalls, alongside bespoke The Glenlivet cocktails. Get your chopsticks ready as Dim Sum brings you scallop and prawn shumai, poached prawn wontons with Sichuan chilli sauce, and wild mushroom dumplings. Noodle lover? Head to Work Station for stir-fried noodles with roast duck or wok-fried Shanghai noodles with shiitake mushrooms. Grill Station will have meat eaters salivating over BBQ lamb and chicken skewers, perfectly seasoned with a melange of exotic spices.

Live music, DJs and entertainment will transform the night and have you dancing in the street, dim sum in hand.
